Strike lets you add widgets to your phone, allowing you to track bitcoin’s price and take quick actions, like buying bitcoin or making payments. To access these widgets, first download the Strike app and sign in to your account.
For iPhone
How to add a lock screen widget
- Wake up: Turn on your iPhone, but remain on the lock screen.
- Press and hold: Press and hold on the lock screen until the “Customize” button appears.
- Customize: Tap “Customize”, then tap the lock screen area
- Choose area: Tap the area where you want to add a widget. Sats per fiat and bitcoin price widgets can be placed above the lock screen time widget, whereas all others can be placed below.
- Find Strike: Scroll through the available apps and select a Strike widget.
- Add widget: Choose your preferred Strike widget to add, then tap or drag the widget onto your Lock screen
- Finish: Tap “Done” to save your changes.
How to add a home screen price chart widget
- Start: Press and hold an empty space until the icons start to jiggle.
- Open widget picker: Tap the “Edit” then “Add widget” to open the widget picker.
- Find Strike: Scroll or search to find the Strike app widgets.
- Select a Strike widget: Browse then tap the Strike widget you want to add.
- Add widget: Drag and drop the widget to your desired location on your home screen.
- Finish: Tap “Done” to return to your home screen.
You can then press and hold the widget to edit the currency or time period for the price chart. iPhone users can also add a price chart to their “Today view”, by swiping right from their home or lock screen and adding a price widget

How to add a home screen price chart widget
- Wake up: Turn on your Android phone and unlock it.
- Press and hold: Go to your home screen, then press and hold an empty space to enter edit mode.
- Find Strike: Locate the Strike app among the available apps
- Select the widget: Tap on the Strike app and select your preferred widget.
- Add the widget: Tap and drag the widget to your preferred location on your home screen.
- Resize and customize (If applicable): Once the widget is on your home screen, you may be able to resize it by taping and holding the widget until resizable dots appear on the edges.
- Finish: Tap away from the widget to return to your home screen.
Lock screen widgets are currently unavailable on Android. Widget availability and step-by-step instructions may differ depending on your phone’s operating system version.
